Next Tuesday I interview to open a State Farm agency in Oak Harbor. My wife and I have spent many hours driving the island, talking to locals, researching online and have come to the conclusion that Oak Harbor is a hidden gem.
If you love the sea or the woods or pastures or wildlife or harbors or nice people, this pretty much includes everybody, you would love Oak Harbor. One thing that stood out to me was, with anyone I spoke with was the pride they all had in their community.
If the stars align this could be the first post of a half century of blogging about beautiful Oak Harbor.
